Parental Leave for Delivering Mothers
- Duration: Delivering mothers are entitled to 9 months of parental leave.
- Eligibility: This leave is available to all employees who have given birth, regardless of their employment status (full-time or part-time).
- Leave Structure: The 9 months of leave can be taken as follows:
- Initial Leave: The first 16 weeks are considered maternity leave and are fully paid.
- Subsequent Leave: The remaining 6 months can be taken at a reduced pay rate, which is typically 50% of your regular salary.
Parental Leave for Fathers and Non-Birthing Parents
- Duration: Fathers and non-birthing parents are entitled to 4 months of parental leave.
- Eligibility: This applies to all employees who are partners of delivering mothers or who are adopting a child.
- Leave Structure: The 4 months of leave can be taken as follows:
- Paid Leave: The first 4 weeks are fully paid.
- Subsequent Leave: The remaining leave can be taken at a reduced pay rate.
Parental Leave for LGBTQ+ Families
- Sushi Telecom is committed to inclusivity, and our parental leave policy extends to all employees, including those in LGBTQ+ relationships.
- Adoption Leave: Employees who are adopting a child are eligible for the same parental leave benefits as biological parents, ensuring that all families receive the support they need.
